Nepal Thematic Report on Food Security and Nutrition 2013
This report is a collaborative effort between the National Planning Commission (NPC), the Government of Nepal (GoN), the Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS), the World Food Program, the World Bank, and UNICEF. It is the first in a series of thematic reports based on data from the 2010-11 Nepal Living Standard Survey. This thematic report updates the food security and nutrition situation in the country and highlights the implications of declining poverty, changing food habits, high food prices, climate variability, and stagnating agricultural production.
