Overall inflation rate in May 2014 was 9.7 percent. The food and beverage group was higher at 12.9 percent,as were several sub-groups: vegetables (31.6 percent), fruits (15.8 percent), meat and fish (13.7 percent)and cereal grains (10.3 percent).
