DFSN Meeting in Parbat
DFSN meeting is accomplished in Parbat today on 9 April 2015. The meeting was held to discuss and decribe the food security situation of the district for the 2nd trimester of this fical year.
The meeting was chaired by CDO Mr. Rishiram Tiwari in the special presence of Regional Agriculture Director Mr. Lekhnath Acharya. The meeting concluded that reports and presentation prepared by Technical Working Group is acurate to display the FS situation of the district. The report tells that the food security situation of the district was Minimally Food Insecure in Mid Nov 2014 to Mid March 2015 period which again can be called as Phase I of food security situation classfication.
The situation was attributed to the good production of cereal crop and sale of livestock products, agricultural products and remittance.
In the meeting welcome speech was made by Senior Agriculture Development Officer Mr. Basudev Regmi and RD had also put his notes on NeKSAP and its importance. Similarly Chairperson of the meeting also emphasized on the effectiveness of the monitoring system with his final closing statement.
The meeting was coducted and presentation was made by NeKSAP focal person/Planning Officer Mr. Bishnu Bahadur Magrati.
