DFSN meeting accomplished in Parbat ( 19 Dec 2014)
DFSN meeting was accoplished today in Parbat. It was held to discuss and analyze the food security situation for the 1st quarter of this fical year 2071/72 in the chairmanship of Chief District Officer Mr. Krishna Pd. Gyawali.
The meeting concluded the food security situation of the district as Minimally Food Insecure. Mainly this is attributed to crop production situation, income through sale of agriculutural and lilvestock product, remittance, and income from employment opportunity in the district.
Similarly in the side of utilization, the district is declared as open defication free with access to 100 percent of toilet and 90% hh with basic drinking water access.
Secondly there was no significant occuance of climatic hazards, disaster putting an adverse impact in food security. In addition, the situation of civil security was found normally peaceful.
