DFSN meeting-Plpa (25 March, 2014)
The second trimester Technical Working Gruop (TWG) and District Food Security Network (DFSN) meeting is accomplished on 25 March, 2014 (Chaitra 11, 2070) in Palpa.
The first half of day, the TWG meeting was held. The meeting was coordinated by Senior Agriculture Development Officer Mr Mahendra Kaudel and facilitated by Mr Chandra Ale (DC). Then, the DFSN meeting was held on the second half of the same day. The DFSN meeting was chaired by the Chief District Officer Mr Shiva Raj Joshi and the result was presented by DADO Mr Mahendra Kaudel.
The DFSN meeting classified the District Food Security Situation of Palpa district in Minimally Food Insecure Phase during this period (Mid Nov-Mid March). However, the situation of 65 VDCs and one Municipality are not equal. Therefore, the meeting grouped 54 VDCs and one MC in 'A' cluster and remaining 11 VDCs in 'B' cluster.
